Biwater – Bids - Utilities

The Biwater Group has designed and constructed water and wastewater treatment plants and leisure facilities, provided consultancy services and run water systems for millions of people in over 90 countries. WM Communications was brought in to assist the company with some critical bid responses. We started by providing Biwater with a critique of one of their existing bid answers – looking at possible improvements to the text and then going on to rewrite the answer, putting our recommendations into practice.WM Communications then worked on a 5,000 word answer on innovation, covering areas such as: innovation in the supply chain, environmental innovation, and whole-life cost innovation.Back to top

ACT - Collateral - Technology

"ACT has been working with WM Communications for several months now, and in that time they’ve written and designed six case studies for us.We recognised that to achieve our aim of creating strong case studies that proved our capabilities, we needed a specialist content marketing agency. I was very impressed with the time the WM Communications’ team spent getting to grips with ACT’s business and tone of voice.Their strategic approach to marketing programmes meant that they really listened and understood our requirements before they proposed a way forward. Our solutions can be complex, but the WM Communications team was able to create case studies that were easy to read but still got our messages across. I’ve been so impressed that we’re now working with them on other marketing collateral, including our corporate brochure.”Joanne Hutchinson, Marketing Manager, ACTBack to top

Alcatel-Lucent - Collateral - Technology

Alcatel-Lucent is a large, global provider of solutions that enable service providers, enterprises and governments worldwide, to deliver voice, data and video communication services to end-users. WM Communications researched, wrote, designed and printed six tailored brochures for six different English geographic regions (e.g. Gateshead and Nottingham). The brochures were for an Alcatel-Lucent UK road-show promoting the social and economic benefits of high-speed broadband and the company’s community broadband offering. The project was fully managed by WM Communications, and delivered within tight timescales and at a highly competitive cost. Since the events finished, Alcatel-Lucent has been able to use the copy for other activities. Writing Machine has already genericised the six regional documents into a single brochure, whilst the content is being used by the sales team in proposals.Back to top

It was excellent - very engaging and easy to read, and it communicated our messages clearly and with real credibility to the different audiences. The project management was also very efficient, and the account team successfully managed multiple writing tasks at once."“It is true I did not know what to expect from WM Communications and if I am honest was not convinced about what they would deliver. They soon blew my doubts away; the work they submitted was excellent and I have used some of the strap lines in other areas. They personally made the whole project very easy and manageable for me.
